Easy's Bistro

Little did I know at the time that I was working in one of the best restaurants I would ever come to know.  Back in 2005 when this place first opened I was looking for an opening into the finer dinning area.  As a broke college student going to school next to downtown Chattanooga this was the ideal place for me to work.  Easy Seafood Company (as it was called at the time) brought authentic New Orleans cuisine mixed with the fine dinning element to Chattanooga in a casual atmosphere.  It was impressive to see the care they took to prepare every dish.  Eating there was a treat to all of your senses.  The look, texture, aroma and most of all flavor of all the dishes was always carefully thought out.  Even the beverage and wine selection was just as carefully put together.

After I graduated college I joined the Navy and I had the opportunity to travel to different destinations around the globe.  I always found myself comparing the dishes to Easy's.  I did have some incredible food, but to this day it is still my favorite restaurant.  

Over the years the place has transformed.  Now known as Easy's Bistro it went from casual and bright to sleek and modern.  I have to say the new look is more fitting of the incredible food that comes out of that kitchen.

Pictured are some of the dishes I've had over the years.  I encourage anyone to be adventurous and try any of their selections.  Easy's has a tendency of making me enjoy things I would not otherwise touch.

It has been some time since I have been there I am looking forward to my next visit with great anticipation.
